Wolf-Garten RR4000 Pruning Shear Premium Plus 22 MM
The WOLF-Garten RR4000 Premium Plus Bypass Pruning Shear can handle branches up to Ø 22 millimeters in diameter. Thanks to the ergonomic design, the pruning shear is very comfortable in the hand, making it the ideal pruning shears for all cutting and pruning activities in your garden. The RR4000 Bypass Pruner is perfectly suited for large hands.
Comfort
The pruning shears has an anti-slip soft insert both at the top and bottom grip, which feels very comfortable and provide a firm grip. Thanks to the soft grip, the power of the hands is transferred to the pruning shears without extra effort.
Adjustable blade tension
The blade tension of the RR4000 Premium Plus Secateur is precisely adjustable, this allows you to adjust how smoothly it will cut through the branches. If you put this more spacious, it will cut through thicker branches more easily. If it is tighter, it effortlessly cuts the thinner branches.
The combination of durability and comfort makes the RR4000 Premium Plus Bypass Pruner one of our top pruners for large sized hands.

Bypass Blades or Anvil Blades: Which to choose?
Bypass blades cut like a traditional scissors with two blades sliding past eachother. Bypass blades are recommended for fast-healing, precise, stub-free cuts of thin stems and green (living) branches. The slim cutting head facilitates the cutting of branches in hard-to-reach places and prevents soft stems from being squeezed during the cutting process.
Anvil blades cut using one-blade technology, which provides up to 20% more power compared to bypass technology. During the cut, the stems and branches rest on the anvil while a single blade cuts down onto the anvil, slicing through the branches. Anvil shears are ideal for cutting dead and hardwood (i.e., rose and bush cutting) and facilitate wrist-friendly work at minimum cutting vibration.
