Pokon Orchid Soil 5 Liter

Pokon Orchidee Grond is developed for all types of orchids. The Orchid sets specific requirements for fertilizer, water and soil. Due to the fact that orchids in nature often grow with the roots in the air, the roots in the soil can quickly turn brown or break away. Proper water management in the soil and an open soil structure are therefore important.

For houseplants such as orchid, palm, cactus and anthurium, special Pokon Soil are available, which are precisely tailored to the specific requirements of these plants.

Instructions for use

1. Always use clean pots and fresh potting soil;
2. Put a layer of hydro pebbles in the bottom of the pot (hydro pebbles provide a better moisture level in the pot);
3. On top of the hydro pebbles you apply a layer of fresh Orchid Soil;
4. Immerse the plant in lukewarm water and then put the plant into the pot;
5. Remove as much old soil as possible and cut off dry or damaged roots;
6. Immerse the plant in lukewarm water and then put the plant into the pot;
7. Fill the pot to the edge with orchid soil and then compact it loosely;
8. Then give enough water.

Composition
Pokon Orchidee Grond is composed of high quality natural raw materials, such as Boomschors Excellent, lime and fertilizers. Orchids need a lot of air around the roots, so this soil has a light structure. Water is well maintained and plants can feed well. In addition, Pokon Orchidee Grond contains food for 2 months!

Care tips

• Nutrition:
  Plants in pots and in the garden are in need of nutrition over time because the nutrients present in the soil are used by the plant. This potting soil contains food for about 2 months. After that we advise to regularly feed plants with special Pokon Orchid Nutrition.
• Potting:
  • Repot the orchid every 1.5 to 2 years;
  • Orchid love a limited space, so do not take a big pot;
  • Make sure that excess water drains well to prevent root rot.
