Pokon Hydrangea Potting Soil Bio 30 Liter

The organic Pokon Potting Soil has been developed for acid-loving plants, such as hydrangea, rhododendron, magnolia, azalea, camellia and acer. They need soil with low acidity. This loam from Pokon consists of the best and highest quality raw materials such as peat litter, garden peat and rice husk. Because of the airy structure of the loam and the amount of peat, this is the ideal potting soil for acid-loving plants. The addition of rice husks also gives your plants access to building materials that strengthen them. The result is a better resistance to diseases and pests. One bag of loam contains enough organic food for approx. 100 days.

Also added to the Pokon Bio Potting Soil is Pokon Plant Enhancer. This booster provides strong roots and increases resistance even more. This protects your plants against pathogenic fungi and keeps you healthy plants, so fewer crop protection products are needed.

Instructions
Plant the hydrangeas and rhododendrons immediately after purchase. The roots can not dry out. These plants are rooted superficially. We therefore recommend to make a large planting hole, so the roots can grow well.

Use in planters

  • Always use clean and large pots;
  • Start with a layer of Pokon Hydro Granules in the bottom of the pot (hydro granules improve the water balance in the pot);
  • Next add a layer of fresh Organic Potting Soil;
  • If the plant has dried out, soak it in water first and then plant in the pot;
  • Add more of the soil up to the top of the pot and press down gently;
  • For ease of watering, the final level should be about 2 cm below the rim of the pot;
  • Finally, give your plant plenty of water!

Use in borders

  • Dig a planting hole that is considerably larger than the size of the clod;
  • Fill the planting hole partially with Pokon Hortensia Potting Soil Bio;
  • Immerse the clod in water and place the plant in the planting hole;
  • Fill the border up and then press it firmly;
  • Then give plenty of water.
