Hozelock Pure Biomix 

The Hozelock Pure BioMix is used to produce homemade natural and organic solutions out of plants such as nettles and comfrey to stimulate your plants and prevent diseases.

The Biomix is ​​a new product within the Hozelock "Pure" concept with which Hozelock not only responds to changing legislation regarding the use of chemicals in the garden, but also to the growing awareness among garden owners and the stimulation of "natural gardening". Bokashi is the new trend! With the Biomix it is now amazingly easy to prepare liquid fertilizer, plant food, insecticide or other solutions without the use of chemicals, simply by reusing plants from the garden or weeds.

The Hozelock Biomix consists of a container that can be closed with a lid and has an integrated mixing mechanism, allowing the plants used to ferment quickly while minimizing unpleasant odors. In the container there is a removable sieve with which the solution made can be easily filtered and plant remains separated from the liquid. With the aid of the drain valve, the liquid can then easily be collected and stored in a jerry can or other type of bottle. Depending on the plant used, this liquid can be used diluted for all kinds of applications, while the plant remains are ideal as a compost activator.

The Biomix is ​​supplied with a recipe booklet so that you know exactly which plants are suitable for which application.

Makes removing the plant debris and draining the liquid into storage bottles easily without splashing. The resulting nutrient-rich compost tea can safely be used on all garden plants and the plant debris makes a top-quality compost activator.

An economical and sustainable solution
The Biomix pays back after only 2 uses: the manufacture of 10L of plant fertilizer (1x Biomix production) is the equivalent of purchasing 10x1L packs of plant feed!

Bee-friendly comfrey
Comfrey makes a highly nutritional natural plant feed – high in potassium and micro-nutrients for flowering and fruiting plants. Try the Bocking 14 variety which doesn’t cast seeds and spread in your garden.

Substitute nettles for high nitrogen feed to promote leafy growth
A solution of nettles gives a good boost to your plants that have suffered from frost or hail damage and stimulates young plants in spring.

Got a problem with pests?
Lavender solution is a great deterrent for ants or try bracken fern to repel aphids. You can add a spoonful of black soap to improve adhesion of the solution.

How to use:

1. Put inside 1kg of plants
2. Add 10L of water and close the lid
3. Mix every 2 days (for 1 to 3 weeks depending on the outdoor temperature)
4. Filter and recover the plant fertilizer, it’s ready! Dilute with water and spray.
