HOZELOCK PURE BIOMIX DRIED FERN 100 GRAM

Ferns are not only pleasant houseplants. You can make fern menure from Ferns. Menure made from fern is a good means of controling and combatting aphids, insects and slugs. Fern manure also contains phosphorus which enhances the flowering of plants. In the Hozelock Pure Biomix you can make 100 grams of dried Fern into fern manure. You make this manure by fermenting the leaves in water. If desired, add green soap before spraying to improve the effect against insects.

Fern manureis ideal for the biological control of aphids, insects, nudibranchs and beetles, while also enhancing the flowering of plants in a natural way. Because this fern manure is 100% organic, the manure is approved for use in organic agriculture and horticulture. The ideal mixing ratio for the pressure sprayer is 50 ml per liter of water, for pouring in a wateringcan, add 200 ml per liter of water.

If necessary, the fern can also be fermented with water and sugar, which strengthens the control of insects.

To prevent and combat

• As a spray, Varengier limits the presence of aphids, insects and slugs.
• Fern vulture can be used as a casting agent to prevent beetles.

Preparation

1. Add the contents of this bag to the Hozelock Pure Biomix;
2. If it also has to be an insect repellent add 500 grams of sugar;
3. Fill the Biomix with 10 liters of water and close the lid;
4. Mix every two days (for 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the outside temperature);
5. Filter the mixture and the liquid fern vulture is ready.

Application
In a pressure sprayer, dissolve 50 ml of manure per liter of water. Fern manure can be used from March to September. In case of severe infestation, spray every 3 to 4 days. To water add 200 ml of manure per liter of water and pour on the soil.

Storage
In a closed bottle in a cool and dark place, the manure has a shelf life of at least a few months.
