This terrace Blumat watering kit is sufficient for about 15 patio pots and consists of 10x Blumat Classic and 5x Tropf Blumat Maxi.

The Blumat Terrace Set includes:

• 4 Tropf Blumat drippers for balcony boxes of 1 meter

• 1 Maxi Blumat dripper for pots with a minimum height of 25 cm.

For the water supply you need a water barrel or a direct connection to the tap by means of a pressure reducer.

The Blumat system saves you a lot of time and water. The plants grow and flower better. The Tropf Blumat system measures by means of a ceramic sensor and provides just the right amount of water at the right temperature so that the plant has no more stress. Ideal for tub plants such as fuchsias, brugmansia's abutulons and virtually all orangery plants and summer flowering plants, but also in the greenhouse, even for frost-free wintering.

The big advantage is the individual adjustment to the water requirements of each plant separately. The Tropf Blumat is ideal for watering container plants, planters, roof gardens, hanging baskets, greenhouse or conservatory. Now it is also possible to dose water automatically in a professional manner.

Tropf-Blumat works completely automatically.
The suction power of the roots will trigger the watering process if the soil is dry. The membrane which has been incorporated into Tropf-Blumat will open and release the required flow of water. Once the soil is sufficiently moist Tropf-Blumat will terminate the water release by itself.

Each Tropf-Blumat sensor responds completely independently of another. It takes into account direct sunlight, air temperature, humidity and plant growth.

Each ceramic cone is a sensor and drip feed, both at the same time! This makes the system unbeatable when it comes to watering different sorts of plants, particularly with regard to balconies, patios and potted plants! Tropf-Blumat can be used for all sorts of plants.

• Flowerboxes regardless on which floor, single plants on the patio or lush vegetation in the conservatory - Tropf-Blumat is ideal for watering any kind of plant. Different box or trough heights do not matter in this regard.

Nutrients are no longer flushed out of the soil as a result of excessive water release.

Maintenance and overwintering
When dismantling the system ensure you clean the ceramic sensor both inside and out with water and store above freezing point. Use sandpaper to remove any encrustations on the ceramic cone. All of the tubes can remain outdoors.

Fertilisers
We recommend you use long-therm fertilisers which should ideally be added to the soil at the time of planting. However, you can also use a watering can to supply the plants with nutrients or opt for our special two-phase fertilisers.
