Blumat Tropf-Blumat Complete Set for 12 Plants

This standard watering set is sufficient for 12 plants or 3-meter balcony planters.

The Blumat Tropf-Blumat 3m set is a fully automatic irrigation system for up to 12 plants. The set is ready to use and contains all the necessary components to set up your watering system. For water supply, you can use a tank (water barrel, rain barrel) of your choice; you do not necessarily need a fixed water connection. With the accessories from Tropf-Blumat, you can easily expand your watering system at any time.

Water is usually supplied through a connection to an elevated tank. A Blumat Pressure Reducer is required in addition for a reliable connection to a water faucet.

Now there is an affordable irrigation system! Automatically dose water to your tub plants, flower boxes, and rooftop terrace. Also, for watering indoor plants during holidays, there is the right Blumat, even for providing water to young plants in the garden.

The Blumat system saves you a lot of time and water. The plants grow and bloom better. The Tropf Blumat system measures through a ceramic sensor and provides exactly the right amount of water, at the right temperature, so that the plant no longer experiences stress. Ideal for tub plants like fuchsias, Brugmansia's, abutilons, and all orangery plants and summer bloomers, but also in the greenhouse, even for frost-free overwintering.

The big advantage is the individual adjustment to the water needs for each plant separately. The Tropf Blumat is very suitable for watering tub plants, flower boxes, rooftop terraces, hanging baskets, greenhouse, or winter garden. Now it is also possible to automatically dose nutrients in a professional way.

How it works
The Tropf Blumat consists of a ceramic sensor plus pouring button with a membrane that moves by negative pressure. This sensor is inserted 8-10 cm into the root ball. The negative pressure occurs as the root ball becomes drier, and the membrane is pulled downwards, opening the water supply and replenishing the consumed moisture through the 3 mm thick flexible hose until the set value is reached. For deep pots, there is also the Maxi Blumat that measures deep into the pot. This gives water less frequently, but more intensely.

User manual
By means of an adjusting screw, you can set the moisture content of the root ball. Even overwintering tub plants goes well by placing the drip point closer to the Blumat, which causes it to close earlier and thus give less water. Through the Tropf Blumat, you can also provide nutrients with the water, so that this is also dosable and you can always give as desired. Our nutrition contains everything a tub plant need.

The watering area can be expanded with distribution drippers. These are also adjustable. If nutrients are added or if the water contains a lot of lime, the drippers need to be maintained.
