Ferro Nutrient Water Analysis

With Ferro Nutrient Water Analysis you can have the content of your water analyzed in a laboratory. Order a free sample bottle of 250 ml for your nutrient water. After de analysis, you will of course receive the analysis results but also the pH value, the E.C. and advice about increasing the quality of the water. If the water is not suitable for cultivation, Ferro advises you to use an osmosis filter in combination with an osmosis solution. Osmosis filters remove all elements from the water.

This type of analysis is suitable for, among other things, groundwater, tap water and osmosis water.

The laboratory analysis is performed on the following (rail) elements:

  • Ammonium (NH4)
  • Nitrate (NH4)
  • Magnesium (Mg)
  • Sodium (Na)
  • Calcium (Ca)
  • Potassium oxide (K2O)
  • Chlorine (Cl)
  • Sulphite (SO3)
  • Phosphate (P2O4)
  • Hydrogen bicarbonate (HCO3)
  • Iron (Fe)
  • Manganese (Mn)
  • Zinc (Zn)
  • Boron (B)
  • Copper (Cu)
  • Molybdenum (Mo)

Required amount of water: 250 ml.

Advantages Analysis

  • no shortages of nutritional elements;
  • no surpluses of nutritional elements;
  • a stable E.C. in the substrate;
  • a pH directly at optimum value in the nutrient container;
  • no problems in the substrate;

Instructions

  • let the tap with which you make the feed water run for a few minutes;
  • take the water sample with as little oxygen as possible;
  • put the bottle in the supplied box;
  • indicate on the box on which substrate you are working and which food you use;
  • bring the water to your supplier as quickly as possible;
  • will you bring us the water at a later stage? then keep the sample in the refrigerator.

We will deliver the sample bottle for you at Ferro. The water sample is then coded and forwarded to the laboratory. After a few days, Ferro receives the analysis results. On this basis they draw up the feeding schedules and insert them into the computer, after which the ordered quantities are filled. This all happens automatically with an accuracy of 0.25%!

Coding

On the basis of an example, we explain how the coding works:

A grower has an analysis of his water and orders a set of food A & B 200 liters of Flowering on an E.C. from 2.0. As a plot he gives up "greenhouse south". This plot is a reminder for the customer, in case he forgets his analysis number. In the analysis results that he receives, plot greenhouse south and a 6-digit number, for example 103-150.

The following coding then appears on the ordered plant food: 103 | 150 | 2.0

  • 103: refers to the store where the food is ordered, these are normally the last 3 digits of the store's debtor number;
  • 150: refers to the customer number of this store;
  • 2.0: refers to the E.C. value for which the power supply has been generated.
